Should I go for the Second IOL?

A few weeks ago I had a Restor IOL implanted after cataract removal.  The vision is not good... I seem to be looking through water, I can see but there appears to be water, or a liquid in the eye, blurring the vision.  The eye gets tired easily.  I am scheduled for a second surgery with a Resume IOL in a few weeks and am concerned that my vision is going to be worse than before my surgeries.  Please give me your opinion.

Cancel the second surgery!  It sounds like you are experiencing "waxy" vision, which is a not uncommon side effect of ReStor.  The cause is the light-sharing feature intrinsic to the design of an IOL incorporating different zones of vision.  Maybe things will improve with time, or maybe they won't.

You need to have a lot more information about multifocal IOLs in general and the ReZoom IOL in particular before deciding about your second eye.  Use the search feature (upper right corner of your monitor) to search the archives of this site.  There's a lot of valuable info there.

I to have the Restor lens. I am not happy with them.  I'd suggest that you wait for the 2nd to see how you like your first.  I have ghosting and blurry vision since June. Many others on this forum have the same problem.  Right now I'd thinking about having them removed and use the standard lens.

Doctors are dismissing the problems saying they are neuroadaptation problems. HA.
