I'm not a doctor, but I would think any injury, no matter how seemingly harmless, would need to get checked out if it has to do with your eye health. Especially if it has been going on for an extended period if time. Maybe a nerve is damaged? Maybe not. But it is still better to be safe than sorry when it comes to possibly losing your vision on one side, which could harm your life in the long run if you have goals that require both eyes. Has the blurry vision been the only symptom? If you think back the entire time since you had the blurriness and you've noticed another happening with your body or mind, coincidence or not, it is worth bringing up to your doctor to see if they have anything to do with eachother.
