Silver light floating away in my peripheral

Silver light floating away in my peripheral

Every now and then I get a floating silver light (about the size of a point on a pen) that floats from my central vision to my peripheral and then it disappears. It only lasts a few seconds and I do not have any pain or other symptoms. It usually only occurs in one eye. I am 22 years old and have not had any eye problems or other health problems. I don't even have bad vision (no glasses or contacts needed).  Does anyone know what this is? Or has anyone experienced this? I plan on going to an eye doctor, but can't get in for 2 months...

This is most likely a retinal problem.   See an EyeMD, an ophthalmologist.
