Skimmed milk in eye

Hi folks.Bizarre question here but is skimmed milk harmful to the eyes? I just got a tiny bit of it in my eye there (that had sweetener in it). I feel compelled to wash it out even though my better judgment is saying that there is no need to. So will it be okay that I got a small bit in my eye?

Thanks a million folks.

Yes I've milked it dry no more fun in this pun.     And on a serious note immediate treatment for any foreign or toxic substance in the eye wash it out immediately, in an emergency tap water will do fine.  A saline type commercial eye irrigation is better and Cederroth Emergency  Eye Wash is best.

You were indeed addressing him.  I was just remarking that the good doc was fast on his feet with that response.
