Small Pupils, Large Pupils

I have alway had small pupils and my son-in-law has always had very large pupils. What is the difference in what our eyes see? Does he have better night vision? Are there disadvantages to either? Thank you for any information you can give.

It is the same as some one being short or tall.  Some people have large pupils and some small.  No advantage or disadvantage unless you have some type of surgery such as LASIK or cataract surgery.
