Small circles in central vision flickering! Need help!

I went on vacation for 20 days and just 3 - 4 days ago, I noticed an area in my central vision was flickering.  When I started to focus on it I saw small little circles popping up and flickering.  The circles are small with a clearish color and I am able to see right through them.  I can see it with my eyes open and closed. It has been going on ever since non-stop and I'm getting worried. I've tried searching what this might be but have been unsuccessful in finding anything related to this, at all. I am only 15 years old and this is completely stressing me out and I have no idea on what to do.  Even worse, I can't find anyone with this issue online which leaves me with no knowledge of what's going on in my vision.  If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Thanks so much for the reply!  2 days prior to the start of this visual problem  I suffered a terrible migraine that caused sharp eye pain and pressure behind it.  However, I didn't experience any migraine aura and I don't think visual problems would appear after the pain.  I also had diarrhea (not sure if this is relatable) and took Gastro-Bismol and I don't think a visual symptom was even listed.  I will definitely have this checked out ASAP.

I recommend an evaluation with an ophthalmologist, including a visual field and dilated exam.  Before the consultation, note whether the symptoms occur in one or both eyes, and tell the doctor about any other associated symptoms like headache, nausea, or eye pain.  Also tell the ophthalmologist about any prescription or over the counter medications you take, as well as any supplements.
