So can cataract lens implants be replaced?
I had 14 stitches in order to remove cataract and as a result of lens implant I developed an astigmatisism 20-300).  Contact lens don't work for me because I feel the stitches when I attempt to remove the soft contact lens and hard lens don't do very much.    I would like to find out if I can have the old lens removed and start over with new lens implant???

The situation must me much more complex than you describe. Most cataract surgery is done with NO stitches or at most 2-3. Even in the big incision planned extracapsular 14 stitches were not used.

I suggest you get a second opinion from a different surgeon.
