Spots/clouds

For about 2 months now, I have had spots or clouds in my vision.  They move with my eyeball.  I went to the eye doctor yesterday, and he said my eyes were absolutely fine, and my vitreous was crystal clear.  He saw no abnormalities.  At night time, and in dark environments, the spots are not visible to me.  What could this problem be?

Was the "eye doctor" a physician-ophthalmologist Eye MD? If you saw a non-physician, limited-scope optometrist you need a medical eye exam.

If you did have an Eye MD check you eye and things were normal then I would suspect vitreous floaters as the cause.

You can have vitreous floaters that are too small for the Eye MD to see.
