Stabbing Pain in Left Eye Right Corner

For the last 2 weeks, I have been having this stabbing pain above my left eye in the right corner.  It only lasts about a second and sometimes will come again right away if I move my head.  It wasn't happening that often at first, but now I average this about 5 times a day.  It is usually during the daytime (no problems at night) when I go to sit down. (i.e., especially the toilet, my computer chair) I had lasik surgery, I believe in 2002, and wore contacts and glasses prior to this.  I have been wearing reading glasses since the surgery and I am over 50 years old. About a year ago, I had a similar occurrence, but instead of a stabbing pain, it was more like a swoosh over my head (like I was light headed).  I was told that it could be from changing positions quickly and to just sit down slower.  I didn't really change anything but eventually it went away.  Now this has started up. I haven't had any eye injuries, but about every three years, I will get inflammation in my left eye, which I have medicine for and will go away.  Currently nothing is wrong with my eye.  The pain is pretty intense but bearable because it doesn't last very long. I have lost my job and don't have the money to go to the doctor.  Is this anything serious or will it eventually go away like the last time?
