Starbursts around lights

Starbursts around lights

I'm a 20 year old female. Within the last couple of months I have noticed that when driving I get a glare from oncoming lights. Although my vision is fine and I can still see clearly, the glare is becoming somewhat of an annoyance. Also at night when looking at a light, I get like this starbursts effect from the lights. I wear contacts and my vision appears to be fine. I went to the eye doctor in July, and nothing came up during the exam. Could this be a serious problem or just the way my eye picks up light?

Any ophthalmologist can tell you that your problem is 90-95% likely is due to your contact lens. Either causing swelling or the cornea, irregular astigmatism or getting edge abberations.

You will need to work with who-ever is fitting you on this or see an Eye MD physician (ophthalmologist for a second opinion).
