Strabismus eye surgery, but still deviation with a cover up test.

hello
i had a strabismus surgery 8 days ago.
before that i had a concomitant esotropia with double vision.
now
the double vision have gone and whenever i open my eyes 2 pictures synchronize immediately and my eyes look straight.

the problem is that when i do a cover up test there is still gona be a strabismus degree, like ***something around 10 degrees .
i wonder if this degree should go away by itself or should i go for another surgery to get rid of it ?

You are describing a phoria.  I would not worry about it. How about asking your surgeon.

I have a phoria, too.  I'm not an eye care professional, but I believe that a phoria is related to a brain (visual processing) problem rather than an eye muscle problem.  So it can't be corrected with eye muscle surgery.  It is only noticeable if something blocks the vision in one of your eyes.  Nobody has ever commented on my phoria (or probably ever noticed it), and I'm in my 50s.  Phorias are not uncommon, and many people never become aware that they have this condition.  I'm glad that your strabismus surgery was a success!  Don't worry about the phoria.
