Strange eye problems (Focusing, headache, eye muscles tensioned)

Dear readers,
I'm a 23 year old male in good health, with no alcohol or drugs abuse.
I have seen a lot of eye doctors, but I still have severe eye problems (Headache, problem focusing at 1 point, trouble with reading, pressure behind the eyes, difficulties with learning/reading/memory).

Some of my eye muscles are continually stressed. When I wake up in the morning (still with my eyes closed), the problems already start. As what I can feel, it's the Oblique inferior muscle who is at real tension all the time (the muscle under my eye, which moves the eye upward etc). When I put my fingers at the lower eyelid, between the skullbone and my eye, I can feel my eye is a bit 'popped out' and at tension. When I try to relax the muscles (especially The Oblique Inferior), all of the eye problems disappear. But when I do relax the Oblique Inferior, antoher problem rises: my sight will go blurry emediately. So all the time I will automatically tense the Oblique Inferior to prevent from seeing blurry. And when I stress/tense the muscles, I have Headache, problem focusing at 1 point, trouble with reading, pressure behind the eyes, difficulties with learning/reading/memory etc. My eyelids are also always more open than before, and my forehead has wrinkels because of the tensed muscles. It's an 'automatic system' I can't prevent. I have seen a lot of Ophthalmologists and eye doctors. I do not have strabismus etc. The only thing I have is -6 DPT in both eyes. Another strange thing is, when I force my eyes to cross (look at  my nose), the tense of the oblique inferior also dissapears, and my vision also gets blurry (near aswel for far vision). Is there a direct relationship between the oblique inferior muscle and the ciliary muscle? Is this a neurological problem?

Does anybody have experience with this problems? It really affects my life, school and work. Cause I really can't concentrate at all. I was at university when this problem started, now I have a delay of 2.5 years already.

Sorry for the bad English, I'm from a foreign country (Holland). I really hope you can help!

Thanks in advance!

Martin

Hello Holland,  I've been in practice and I have never had a patient with those problems. I can't be of much help except to say that if it were serious it should have gotten much worse by now and that the Eye MDs in Holland should have been able to diagnoses something.  Your best bet would be to go to a university medical center and see an Eye MD that specializes in "strabismus" (eye muscle problems also known generally as a pediatric ophthalmologist.
