Strange eye reflections in glasses

I have had a retinal vein occlusion in my left eye about 18 months ago, leaving me poorly sighted in that eye.  My right eye has developed a reflection in my glasses, sunglasses in particular, that shines like a small disc. This reflection appears to show the inside of my eye, l believe it to be my retina and shows a dot where my optic nerve is. To begin with there was a small cut out of the circle, a bit like a piece out of a cheese,  I mentioned this when l went to see the specialist at the eye hospital  earlier in the year and he had no ideas.  I have just seen the specialist again, because this cheese/cut section has become much larger and floaters seem to be getting worse as the cut gets larger. He gave my eye a c/t scan (I believe.) and said he could not see anything wrong with my eye. My sight seems reasonable at the moment in this eye. The strange thing is, if l look at rain on a window, every raindrop has a segment cut out of it mirroring the reflection l can see in my glasses, this also happens with the bubbles of milk on my cereal, bubbles in the bath and other tiny shiny things. I am very worried as l do not want to lose the sight in this eye as well. Any ideas.  Michaelm399

I would get an OCT of your macula and a visual field test to look for any abnormalities as well as a careful dilated examination.  You want to ask your ophthalmologist if you have any evidence of macular degeneration as well.  Good luck.
