Subconjunctival hemorrhage that looks worse?

Hi! I have what I assume to be a subconjunctival hemorrhage in my eye. It happened a few days ago, started looking better then today it looks worse. No pain or anything, just wondering if there is any cause for concern?

If the eye is calm, comfortable, with good vision and no pain or discomfort or irritation, no loss of vision or blurred vision or flashes or floaters then you should generally be OK and the blood should resolve in a few weeks.  If you have any of the above symptoms or if you got hit in the eye or have a lot of concerns then see an ophthalmolgist.  It may be that you are due for an exam anyway and this will give you a good reason to make an appointment.

Thanks so much for your answer! I really appreciate it. My vision is the same as always and no floaters or anything like that. It just looks gross. It may even look a little better today than it did yesterday, not much, but a little! I didn't get hit in the eye or anything, it seems like it just appeared on it's own.
Again, thanks so much for your answer!

I think my daughter (14 months) got a subconjunctival hemorrhage (sh) from a long hard crying session a week ago.  It started as a small red area in the white part of her right eye between iris and nose.  It started to spread as the week passed.  It looks like it's not getting any better, but she does not seem any bothered by it.  No itching and it does not seem like her vision is affected or any pain.  My concern is the other eye now has a tiny bit of blood in the white area.  I'm just really worried it is something else.  Does not sound normal of a sh?
