Subretinal Hemorrhage

I lost my left eye vision suddently on Jan. 8, 2009 while I was driving car in the freeway. I had peripheral vision at first but now I can't see anything with my left eye. Right eye has no problem. I am under observation by a Retinal Surgeon right now after consulted with Optometrist and Opthalmologist. As per doctor my problem is subretinal hemorrhage with no known reason. He couldn't say it is macular degeneration because I am too young for that. He mentioned it would take time to get back my vision and there is no treatment for this problem.

I would like to know whether any treatment for this problem, surgery or medicine?

Thanking you
Thomas Xavier

Get a second opinion.  Depending on how much vision was lost some doctors would consider treatment.
