Sudden Blurred Vision

I slipped and fell on some ice and banged the right sde of my face on my eyebrow which took five (5) stitches to close. Following the insertion of the stitches my eye was a dark red all around it.

The redness is gradually going away, but last night I started to get blurred vision in the injured eye.

I do not know if I need to mention this, but when I went to emergency the doctor began to take care of my wound without washing his hands and he was not wearing gloves.

Although he complied to my request he was very negative in his attitude to my request/insistence.

I would like to know what is causing the blurred visuion and what I should do about it. My left eye is O.K.

Thank you

I

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
You do need to see an Eye MD ophthalmologist immediately. Have your family doctor help you.

One thing you and others should know. The ER doctor may have washed his hands before coming in the room.

Some exam rooms do not have sinks and the MD washes at a central station before coming into the room then washes after he/she leaves.

You should call your doctor immediately. If you can't get hold of a doctor, I'd go to an urgent care facility immediately or even the ER if that's your only choice to get seen immediately.

I am not a medical professional, but if the fall caused some delayed bleeding inside your head somewhere, maybe this could be what's wrong? I am not saying it is, only that I would be very alarmed at vision loss or any other strange symptoms after a bump on the head.

Call your doctor right now!
