Sudden Droopy Eye Lid?

Sudden Droopy Eye Lid?

What other symptoms would come along with sudden ptosis or excess skin on the upper eyelid before it signifies a problem? It's something I haven't noticed in the past, but recently I have noticed a slight droopiness in my right eye, and it isn't significant, but it's something I notice. I looked at old pictures and did not see any signs that I had it in the past. At the moment I am 17 years old, so I hear this is usually not a big problem for my age group. I've had dry eyes my whole life, I do not know whether that plays any role in this droopiness. It seems like on the right eye there is like an extra layer of skin that is causing the droopiness. But if the only symptom that just came on is ptosis, what does this mean?

Droopy eyelid = ptosis  droopy eyelid skin = dermatochalasis    The first is abnormal and with sudden onset need to see ophthalmologist ASAP.   The second is an ageing (aging) sking change. Sometimes they are hard to tell apart.

Exercise will not help either.
