Sunglasses Cause My Eye Pain

I have owned a pair of Costa del Mar polarized sunglasses for 8 years.  I have just recently been experiencing pain and discomfort in my right eye after wearing these glasses for a couple of minutes.  I have switched to various models and manufacturers (Costa del Mar, Ray Ban, and Oakley) only to have the same results.  I have been told that the curvature of the lens may be affecting my eyes.  All of the lenses that I have been wearing have an 8 base curvature.  I have had no previous problems with my eyesight and currently have 20/20 vision.  Is the curvature of the lens affecting my eyes, the polarization, or am I doomed to never wear sunglasses again?

I honestly don't know the answer to  your question.  At the very least, have an ophthalmologist give you a complete exam - maybe you need prescription sunglasses?  Maybe something else going on.
