Surgery for existing human lens

Hello,

I'm aged about 30years, I'm with myopia  for both eyes, because my retina is not supporting for IOL due to minimal retinal thickness doctors suggested me to get replace with artificial lens in the place of existing lens by removing. I'm having a doubt how far the existing lens can be removed, is it the suggestion is reliable?

Please help me out
