Swollen upper lid of left eye

Swollen upper lid of left eye

Hello, my upper lid of the left eye has been swollen for the past 2-3 years. I went to numerous eye doctors they all prescribed me eye drops from allergy, but the swelling never went away. Sometimes I don't feel like it is swollen, although it is, and sometimes I feel pressure on my eye. There is no bumps and my eye is not red. Is there anytihng you can suggest?

I have had swelling in my eyelid as well.  Partially, I believe it is due to constant rubbing and irritation from allergies.  I think it has gotten a little better now that I am taking fexofenadine (allegra) every morning.  - Carolyn

Swelling of an eyelid that lasts 2-3 years needs to be evaluated to see if there is tumor or lesions in lid.
