TECNISMultifoacl Vs. Mono-focal lens

Hi ppl,
Can anyone explain which one is better, tecnis multifocal of mono-focal?
If i have a presbiopia in both eyes, but cataract more in one eye than the other.
Is the tecnis multifocal better, and without adverse effects?

No IOL and no surgery is without the chance of adverse events or complications. Any multifocal IOL will have greater chance of complications than a monofocal IOL.

Take the time to use the search feature and see all the unhappy people that have posted here with multifocal IOLs then see if you really want to do that to yourself.

The Tecnis multifocal lens is not currently available in the USA. It is reported to be very similar to the ReStor multifocal, with the same benefits and problems. You can learn more about the Tecnis monofocal lens by watching the patient education video at www technisiol com.
