Tear on my sclera

I have a tear on my sclera and it appears that blood is leaking from it. At first it was only bleeding lightly, but it has gotten worse overnight. It is almost to my iris. Will it continue and cover my iris? Should I be concerned?

This sounds like a subconjunctival hemorrhage where a small capillary bleeds between the sclera and the membrane conjunctiva. They move with gravity. Look bad. Mean nothing. If you are on blood thinners of any kind including aspirin, Vitamin E, or G herbs,
these are more common. It will go away as a bruise does.
