1. Use the search feature and read all the posts about trouble with multifocal IOLs. BE very sure you understand what you are getting into. Post op problems and disatisfaction is about 60 times more common with multifocal IOLs than monfocal.
2. Get a second opinion.
3. If you are like our anesthetists you have to drive in at night for emergency. Night vision is often a challenge with multifocal IOLs.
4. The Crystalens HD is relatively new (don't consider the old one) and the Technis multifocal extremely new. I have not seen any articles in medical journals about that combination.
