Temporary black spot in visual field
Hi, I have a problem with my left eye.Usually when I read something or sometimes when I am outside just walking, I have a black spot in my left visual field which is moving as I am moving my eyeball and it does not appear always , usually go away when I look at different direction. I'm spending most of my day with a book. I've never had before something like this and right now it has been lasting for two weeks. I don't feel any pain and no other symptoms. Can you please let me know what can be reason for this impermanent seeing problem?

It could be a vitreous opacity (floater) but there are other retina conditions that might simulate that. You need to see an Eye MD ophthalmologist. Find one near you at www.aao.org
