Thygeson's Kevatits diease

9 months ago I was diagnosed with Thygeson's disease...still having problems.  Today I found out I have a hypo-thyroid....can the two be related?  The symptoms of both began about 1 year ago.

I had the same thing happen to me!...It happened right after I had my daughter.. I was diagnosed with hashimoto's thyroiditis , I have several thyroid nodules, and thygesons started at the same time...32 infiltrations in one eye and 24 in the other... The eye problem is the most painful thing I have ever expeirenced... and I just know in my heart these problems are realted...Everytime I feel like my thyroid is flaring up, I will have a swollen lymphnode under my chin, and my eyes turn blood shot.. This is the first time in 4 years that the thygesons has come back, with a thyroid flare up... Its torture.. Feels like glass in your eyes.. I wish I could find a good specialist who knows that its my autoimmune disease causing this...I was 25 at the time of the diagnosis.. Thyroid disease runs in my family....Me and my cousin both have autoimmune thyroid diesase..But I am the only one who has had a laundry list of problems from it.. I am 5'4...107 lbs.. so thank god it spared me the weight gain!...but I have been haveing the opposit, i cant seem to gain any weight.. Going to see my doc. next week...I wish you luck -lovewins-!....
