Thyroid decompression

by chauncene, Sep 11, 2007 03:42AM
Aloha,
My name is Nay Nay from Hawaii I am having Decompression surgery on Sept 12th.
Does anyone know much about a Dr. named Kikawa of UCSD La Jolla California.
Ive been battling Graves for 3 years.
I have been patiently waiting to have this done and I found this forum.
He seems to come highly recommended.
In addition, what should I expect as far as pain and comfort.

If you mislabeled this an you're talking about an eye socket or orbital decompression, there is an excellent  recent discussion on this subject by people facing this as well as people having it. Please review postings in the last 10 days or search the subject.

If you mean a thyroid decompression (I've never heard of this), you're on the wrong forum.
