Can facial pain occur with tilted optic nerve syndrome?

I have been treated for Glucoma for 2 years, and the many eye drops caused me to have coughing and sore throat.  Saw a new Doctor and told him about this and he feels the drops have caused my throat and coughing problem.  A few weeks ago, the eye specialist told me he things I could only have tilted optic nerve and not glucoma?  is it common to have both or just one of these? How do I treat my tilted optic nerve problem?  I was told to just put very warm compresses morning and night and tears natural eye drops as I have very dry eyes.  Any other ideas.  Thank you very much Alice
