Time taken for Corneal scars to fade

Hi can you tell me how long it will take for corneal scars to fade away?

I had a Adenovirus eye infection start of the year, had scars left for permanent but was told will fade over time.

Went for an eye test other day could see bottom line very clearly with one eye but just about with the other eye.

At nighttime, i can see glares from car lights and street lights.

If over time the scars fade, will the vision get clearer or better?
