To Restor or not Restor

To Restor or not Restor

I have Crystalens in both eyes, but have difficulity reading.  I am scheduled to have surgery, and plan to replace one Crystalens with a Restor lense.  Does this seem to be a good resolution, or should I just accept reading glasses to correct my deficient?

I think the rationale here has some merit.  In general the restor should provide much better reading vision than crystalens.  There is, of course, no guarantee of your result, so in the end it is up to you.  Your reading vision will probably be much better and distance vision may possible drop some and intermediate vision may be less.  Personally, I would probably just leave it as it and get some +150 readers to use part time.  Some surgeons say the enemy of good is better - in other words if things are good it's usually a good idea to leave things alone before you make it worse in your effort to make it better.  Are you happy enough to  leave well enough alone?
