I live in Santiago, Chile and recently had an eye exam mainly because I was interested in getting contact lenses to use for sports. My prescription is written as follows:
OD: -0.25 -0.50 X 99
OS: -0.25 -0.50 X 104
I asked the doctor about contact lenses and he recommended accuvue soft contacts and did not mention any problems due to my particular prescription. However, when I went to the eyeglass store, they told me that because of my low-level astigmatism, there are not any contact lenses available that will help me with this. Is this true? I was under the impression that there were contact lenses that correctCorrect (new formula) all parts of vision that traditional glasses are able to correctCorrect (new formula).
If you wrote your RX down correctly that is a very very very weak prescription and many people do not wear glasses or contacts with that littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys RX. You should see quite good without glasses. If you are satisfied with your vision without glasses then you can forget both glasses and contacts.
