Told it's shingles, but doesn't match pictures

Woke up Sat and the "bag" under one eye was swollen, red and stinging. Ophthalmology office closed for Labor Day weekend till Tuesday. Treated w warm compresses, which removed the swelling but did not change redness (not in the eye, just the "bag" is red") This morning I had 4-5 soft white spots on the red swollen bag area, which is new, so went to a standalone ER. The doc diagnosed shingles and stared me on antivirals and prednisone. Now looking at examples and description of shingle, they seem to be clear "blisters" of fluid, or red open sores. Mine are not like that at all..the are just soft white spots barely raised. Also while it stings and feels sore, it doesn't really hurt like shingles is supposed to. I can see my opthalmologist in 2 days but meanwhile- am I ok or should I try another ER? Thank  you.

It will not hurt to continue on the Antivirals--probably Valtrex.  You do not need the prednisone.
