Tramtic Glaucoma

Tramtic Glaucoma

I had a severe eye injury from blowing up a ballon 1 3/4 years ago.  Since this accident, I have eye pain that feels like pressure building around my eye.  I am on several types of glaucoma meds plus a steriod to relieve the pressure and eye pain.  My back two molars actually hurt as well.  My eye gets fatigued very easily when I where glasses.  I now need glasses to see for reading and computer.  The problem is that when I wear my glasses for more than 5 minutes, my eye feels like it is pulling and I have pain.  This is a daily occurance.  I am looking for advice and a possible solutions.  I currently see a traumatic eye specialist.  Help!

I am not sure what a traumatic eye specialist is.  You can also consider seeing a glaucoma specialist.

Dr.  My specialist does see glaucoma patients.  He is treating my injury much like he would treat a glaucoma patient.  He has indicated that he feels the ducts that relieve the eye pressure are damaged and that the glaucoma meds help release pressure.  Is this truly correct?  Are there possible other treatments that you are aware of?
