Treatment for congenital nystagmus

Treatment for congenital nystagmus

My 14 year daughter has congenital nystagmus.  Dr Richard Hertle did the tenotemy procedure on her when she was 6 years old:  resulted in about 10% improvement.  She also tried the memantine medication (Dr Irene Gottlob):  resulted in hardly noticeable improvement.
Do you know if the medical field is coming out with something that can help improve nystagmus?  I also heard that Dr Hertle was researching on some ************** for nystagmus. Do you know anything about it?
Thank you for taking the time to respond,
Regards,
Marie

Richard Hertle is the most "progressive and aggressive" nystagmus doctor / surgeon in the USA.  I doubt very much that there is any other doctor or center who is trying something he isn't trying.
