Trouble opening eye

My right eye appears higher than my left, but I've realized that this is just because it is smaller. My right eyelid hangs down lower than my left eyelid- I think I have always had this, but recently I feel like it has become more noticeable, or maybe I've just started to focus on it because it bothers me aesthetically. Anyways, sometimes when I wake up in the morning or in the middle of the night I have a lot of trouble opening my right eye! It feels really heavy! This started happening over the last year and a half or so, and seems to be happening more frequently. What does it mean?! Can it be fixed? I don't want to walk around with uneven crazy eyes :(

This most likely can be fixed.  See an ophthalmic plastic surgeon. It severe it will be covered by most insurances.
