Twitching left eye

by NateP, Jan 21, 2008 10:33AM
For the past two weeks I've experienced a twitch in the muscles of my upper left eye lid. I haven't experienced any change in vision except for when it really gets bad and my eye starts to shake badly. I can sometimes control it by closing my eyes for a couple of seconds but it is really annoying.

Only the left eye shakes so I don't know what to do.

Do you guys have any ideas of what this may be?

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Use Google and search the term "Myokymia" that's what generally causes those symptoms.

If you have not had an eye check up within 12 months get one. You can find an eye md at www.aao.org
