Uneven Pupil Dilation with Hyperagitation

by dravore, Mar 29, 2008 12:03PM
My son had a CVA on the left side of the brain at birth and we've noticed for the past couple years when he gets highly agitated his right pupil fully dilates and the left one does not. Is this something we should be concerned about or this typical with an old brain injury? He has right field deficit, but otherwise the vision he has is perfect.

I really can't tell. You might consult a neuro opththalmologist. Find one at www.aao.org
