Uneven Pupils 2 days After Surgery

I recently had surgery under general anesthesia and appeared to be fine the next day; however, the 2nd day post-op I woke up with a bad headache and very blurred vision (it was like I was wearing someone else's glasses), and then later in the day my husband noticed that my left pupil was dramatically larger than the right one.  I called my doctor and they said to go to the ER.  I have Factor V blood clotting disorder so they were worried about a TIA or stroke, but I didn't exhibit any other symptoms and I was already taking Lovenox shots post-op.  After a CT, MRI & MRA, everything came back normal and I was sent home.  My pupils have finally equalized (took about 3 days) but I've been experiencing bad headaches every day since then.  Could this have really been a TIA and should I worry about something bigger?  Should I follow up with a neurologist or ophthalmologist?  Please help!

Dear JessieBrown,

I would recommend that you continue to follow up with an eyeMD specializing in neuro-ophthalmology.  Your persistent headaches is of concern.
