Unresolved chalazion which might be scar tissue

Hi,

I had a chalazion previously and the head appeared on the outside of my eyelid so the doctor punctured it with a needle and put pressure on it to drain out the pus. But the lump still remains after that. Today is about the 3rd week already and the lump is still red and visible. I visited another doctor and she said it might be scar tissue which might be there permanently. Can I ask if it is due to the previous improper draining of the pus? I'm worried that it cannot be removed at all. please kindly advise.

I doubt it will leave a scar.  It needs to be completely removed.  It is basically a pimple and just squeezing out the pus will not resolve it unless you removed it completely.  Use warm compresses four times per day and see if it helps.
