My friend's daughter has been having upside down vision for about a week. They said it could be viral caused but are not sure. Is there any information you could give to help us find out more about this problem and it's causes?
to be honest this is a problem i have never encountered. are u sure your friend's daughter is not simply seeing double??? she could be having vertical diplopia, one image above the other. otherwise, my suspicion is that the problem is not with her eyes, but with her brain processing, much like in dyslexia. i advise strongly that she be seen by an ophthalmologist, and possibly a neurologist.
