Uveitis/ flashes/PMS.

hello!

It has been 15 days ,since i have been diagnosed with  Anterior uveitis in my right. In the beginning it was very mild and disappeared but came back again after 2 days agressively with redness ,photophobia, hazy vision and lots of defined minute black spots . My first Eye dr.  gave me  Eye drop steroids and drops for dilation, painkiller and antibiotic ointment, later on after 3 days he shifted me to oral steriods. I wasn't satisfied with his treatment so, now iam seeing another specialized eye consultant dr. at a university hospital. The new dr. has tapered my oral steriods and gave me steroid injection. His treatment is eye steroid after every 2 hours , dilation drops 2 times a day and a night antibiotic ointment. According to him, he is treating my uveitis as an acute anterior uvetis. He told that my corne nor my retina is inflammed or infected but my pupil is kind of adhesive with the lense at two points.
This the first time it has ever occured, Iam done with the blood tests and basic checkups with no unusual findings in the reports. I have no medical history so far, but there is one thing i want to know, can uveitis be related to menstural cycle delays?, because there is like 7 weeks delay in my cycle for the very first time!.
And what could be the reason behind flashes of light flowing up or down
at the right side of my  infected eye?.I started witnessing them a day after i had an steroid injection in my right eye.
Flashes are not that much
frequent and prolonged. Beside, my vision is very much fine now and black spots are not that much defined and sharp.
Hoping to have some insights on my eye condition!. :(

You should make sure you are not pregnant.  About half of all cases of uveitis don't have an obvious cause and I'm assuming the specialist has checked you for the other 50% (such as arthritic conditions, inflammatory bowel disease, HLA-B27 associated diseases, sarcoidosis, etc).  Syphilis, TB, and lyme disease are rare infectious causes that should be checked if you have risk factors for them.  I can't think of a direct link between delayed menses and uveitis but there are autoimmune conditions that could effect both (again should have been checked on the blood tests).  Flashes are from the vitreous in the eye being moved by the injection and pulling on the retina.  They should examine the retina at every visit to look for tears or detachments.
