Various treatments to reduce eye pressure

Had eye pressure of 40 then had lazer surgery about 11 shots into right eye and it is still 28 so different drops azopt which has bought it down to 18 today.  So obviously the painful lazer treatment did not work.  Is there any other operation that will sort this out.  Have read where they can insert a little thing which dissolves and leaves a hole for drainage to occur.  I would do anything to avoid taking drops in my eyes for the rest of my life.  Any suggestions?  Thanking you Amanda Sermon

Your poblem sounds like angle closure glaucoma (Google that term and read about it). The laser lowered your pressure from 40 to 28 so it was successful. Glaucoma surgery is high risk procedure generally only done if drops do not work.

GIve drops a chance, accept you may need to use them all your life as the price to keep from going blind.
