Vasoconstrictor Usage

Hi,
I  have suffered from severe dry eyes for several years now leaving my eyes constantly red.  It has started to become more of a debilitation in my day-to-day life because it causes a great deal of stress when, for example, I wake-up in the morning and the whites of my eyes look like they've been painted red and I have to go to a lecture and deal with people.  Right now I'm going to begin using vasoconstricting eye-drops (probably just Visine) and I was wondering, in a fair-skinned, light-eyed individual such as myself, how often can I use these drops without getting a rebound effect?  I would greatly appreciate any answer.

Long term the visine will just make it worse.  You should see a cornea/external disease ophthalmologist for specific treatment. Use the search feature to read about severe dry eyes. ReStasis is the answer for most people
