Very High Myopia in 21 yrs old

Hi Dr:

I have a niece, 21 yrs old, who has very high myopia, -13 OD and -10 OS.
What corrective surgeries is she eligible for, with pros/cons for each.

Much Thanks!

Anyone monitoring this string should ignore the above posting. It is flat our wrong. There is no evidence, none, that mean, milk products, vegetables or grains is bad for the eye, causes myopia or its progression.

SHE'S JUST STARTING OUT IN LIFE.  SHE HAS TO EAT RIGHT, NO MEAT OR MILK PRODUCTS, VEGES AND GRAINS.  I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AND HAVE BEEN THROUGH MANY SURGERIES AND COMPLICATION.  TRUST ME - DONT HAVE CORRECTIVE SURGERY.  PEOPLE WILL LIKE HER AS SHE IS. PRAY THAT SHE STAYS CORRECTABLE, SHE WILL BE FINE

Forget corrective surgery altogether, that is the least of her problems. Search the forum and get educated.
