Vision During Pregnancy

Hi, I am 5 months pregnant at the moment.  I have an astigmatism, where things blur slightly upwards, and have worn glasses - mainly for computer work, & night driving - for the last 10 years.  I've just noticed that when I read a lot of text, after some time, some words (mainly the ones with lots of rounded letters) appear lighter or even greyish in colour compared to words with lots of l's in them.  I don't know if this has always been there and I've only just started to notice and now see it all the time or whether my eyesight is changing with the pregnancy??

Pregnancy can cause a change if refractive error due to hormonal changes, they usually include increased myopia. They should return to normal after 4-6 weeks after the baby comes.

Ofter the pregnancy see an Eye MD for a regular check up. Be sure you child sees an Eye MD by age 2 1/2 to 3 for a checkup.
