Vision after CustomVue LASIK

Vision after CustomVue LASIK

Hello Doctor,

It's been about 2 years since I've done my CustomVue LASIK. Now yesterday I had gone for a medical and it had an eye test. The Doctor covered my left eye and made me read the illuminated board/chart with my right. But i could only read the first line and the rest were blurred. So he checked my eyes and he says that I have a -0.5 number. With both eyes open I can read the chart at least till the 4th-5th line. I had spoken to my CustomVue surgeon and he says we do not advise our patients to check the vision of each eye individually.
Is there anything to be concerned about? Do other people also have experiences like this. Also, for the past few weeks I had been studying for my exams and a day before this medical I had just given my last exam. So I guess my eyes were stressed out due to the constant reading.
When the doctor was checking my eyes he made me look through corrected eyeglasses with the -0.5 number. Can looking through the eyeglass have any adverse effects on my vision in the long term? My vision is otherwise good. I have absolutely no problem during the day and the night.

You doctor may have under corrected one eye to maintain better near vision if you are around 40.  Vision is check in each eye and also together.  You may have regressed in one eye and an enhancement will easily fix this.
