Vision problems/drug induced?

Many meds can cause poor clarity/blurry vision as a side effect.
Recently, I saw an Opthamologist for the above. He exanined my eyes and told me that my vison problems were not medication induced.   How can he tell this?
Thank You.

P.S. My eyes were not dilated with this exam.

You are correct in that some medications can have ocular side effects such as blurry vision.  If your ophthalmologist checked your vision and it was 20/20, he probably felt that you did not have "blurry vision" and therefore, your medications were not causing trouble.  It would be reasonable to have a dilated exam for completeness and you can schedule this with your ophthalmologist.
