Visual Acuity / Glucoma Question

Visual Acuity / Glucoma Question

I am new to site and trying to get a better understanding of some issues, because I have a return eye appointment on the 12th of April because my eye doctor wants to run a glucoma test on my right eye, but am also in the process of applying for SSI on other medical issues and just was curious is there a way to roughly figure someones visual acuity from a prescription because I have seen online if it is over -3.00 that usually means someone has around 20/200 and am just seeing if this needs to be placed on my SSI application before I have my interview on Tuesday because the glucoma is in hold until he confirms or denies it on the 12th.  All he said about it was he was a little concerned because I had failed one of the eye test, and when he checked my right eye he said my right eye was higher in pressure than my left and that the eye muscles seemed tighter which caused him some concern and that was why he would want to do further testing for glucoma.  But as far as I know it does not run in my family, I do work on a computer and everyone I know is saying that is why it is probably tighter or higher in pressure. And this is all new to me so anyone that can give some thoughts about this, knowledge about glucoma, etc would be greatly apreciated.
