Visual disturbance - halos ?

Visual disturbance - halos ?

A few days ago while driving in the dark I experienced a visual disturbance in my right eye.  All headlights, streetlights, and other bright lights had a large spiral of light around them.  The each looked like a large pin wheel.  The ones on headlights were larger than the oncoming cars.  When I closed my right eye they all went away but everytime I open it they returned.  The next morning it went away and has not returned.

I had 3ed crainial nerve damage to that eye from a pituitary apoplexy that left me with severe double vision, that has been surgically corrected.  I still have double vision when not looking in the straight ahead gaze and that eye does not dialate or focus as fast as the left.

Do you think this is something I should worry about or just wait and see if it happens again.

Yes, I would worry about it. .I would at least call up the neurosurgeon or neurologist that follows you to see if they need to see you in the office or if you need to be referred to a neuroophthalmologist.
