Vitreous detachment with retinal break

On 1/27/12 I was diagnosed with a "vitreous detachment with retinal break and some hemorage."  The retinal specialist said the "break" was too small to treat and that my symptoms of spider webs, floaters and blurred vision would go away "in a few days."  Its been a week now and the spider webs have pretty much so moved to my peripheral vision, a few floaters left, but my main concern is the blurry vision which seems to come and go.  When I first wake up in the morning I'll have clear normal vision for 5-10 minutes and then it comes and goes throughout the day.  Also, when I look down, I have clear vision all the time.  Is this blurry vision normal?

That's okay as I misspelled hemorrhage.  Thank you for your response and I have made an appt. for Monday morning.

It should read "any" retinal break.

An retinal break with traction needs to be treated.  This variability in vision after awakening is probably due to the residual vitreous hemorrhage.  You should follow up with your doctor.
