Was about to Vomit then suddenly went blind

I really don't understand the main problem with what I got. When I woke up this morning, I got out of bed as usual. I had a fever in the past few days and the fever was gone but I still was dizzy and somewhat disorientated. And when I got up, I always felt a sharp, painful headache in the front. So when I got out of the shower, I got dressed and then suddenly I was extremely nauseous. Then suddenly, I went blind for a few seconds and I tripped somehow and I didn't vomit. Afterwards I tried to vomit and nothing came out, due to fear that not vomiting is a bad thing. (I assume)
Sorry if I posted it in the wrong area, I really don't know where this belongs.
Later on, I visited my doctor, and she said it had to do with not enough electrolytes and recommend me anti-biotics. Now she and my mother speak the same foreign language as they are both from the same country and I couldn't understand. I really don't know what's going on...Right now I'm fine save for my head.
One more question.
Is it alright to have a little steak in my condition?

You are on an eye forum and this is not an eye problem. You need to ask your mother to explain simply what the doctor said.
